What happens when you report something

Reporting a user sends their account information to us for review. You'll still be able to see their account, boards, Pins and comments after you report them.

All reports are anonymous – we will never tell someone who reported their content.

What happens when you're reported

  1. You won't be notified when someone reports you or your Pins
  2. You won't get information on who reported you
  3. You can use your Pinterest account normally

If we review the report and find that it violates our Terms of Service or our Acceptable Use Policy, we may:

  1. Remove Pins or boards
  2. Restrict the use of your account
  3. Disable your account
