Verify your Blogger blog

The best way to verify your Blogger blog is with HTML meta tags:

  1. Sign in to Blogger and select Template from the left-hand menu
  2. Select Edit HTML and click Proceed on the next screen
  3. Look through your blog's HTML for the <head> section 
  4. Paste in the meta tag from pinterest.com/website/verify code on a new line below <head>
  5. Save the template
  6. Go back to pinterest.com/website/verify and click Click Here to complete the process

You'll see a message that the process was completed successfully, and your website and a checkmark will display on your profile page and in search results. 

 


Verify your Tumblr blog

The best way to verify your Tumblr blog is with HTML meta tags:

  1. Sign in to Tumblr and go to your blog's settings page (http://www.tumblr.com/blog/yourblogname/settings)
  2. Click Customize (next to Theme)
  3. On the next page, click Edit HTML from the left menu
  4. Look through your blog's HTML for the <head> section
  5. Paste in the meta tag from pinterest.com/website/verify code on a new line below <head> and before <body>
  6. Use the Appearance back button to go back to the theme editor menu, then click Save
  7. Go back to pinterest.com/website/verify and click Click Here to complete the process

You'll see a message that the process was completed successfully, and your website and a checkmark will display on your profile page and in search results.

 

You can also verify your Tumblr by HTML file upload

  1. Sign in to Tumblr and to your blog's settings page (http://www.tumblr.com/blog/yourblogname/settings)
  2. Click Customize (next to Theme)
  3. Scroll down below the Appearance section and click to Add a Page
  4. In the drop down menu switch the type of page from Standard Layout to Custom Layout
  5. In the first field add the Page URL extension (this will match the name of the html file downloaded from Pinterest. For example, "pinterest-xxxx.html")
  6. Do not select option to "show a link to this page"
  7. Paste in the Pinterest html verification code into the Custom HTML block and Save Page
