What's a rate limit?
How long am I limited?
A rate limit is a maximum for a certain activity in a given amount of time (ex: commenting).
We have limits in place to stop spammers, but sometimes they hit regular people too. If you hit a limit, your account should be back to normal in about 24 hours.
We're always working on making our spam detection more targeted and reducing false alarms – thanks for your patience while we fine-tune the system.
